Review question/objective Stroke affects millions of people worldwide, causing physical and cognitive disabilities in survivors. Family caregivers play a vital role in their care, however, they often lack the education and skills necessary to perform this role adequately. The objective of this scoping review is to map and describe the literature available on educational interventions directed to family caregivers of elderly people who have suffered a stroke in home care settings.
