This project presents a theoretical framework distinguishing between the "conceived path" of an object perceived within a moving reference frame and its longer, "actual path" through encompassing space. Through thought experiments and mathematical analysis, it resolves the classic train-and-table anomaly and proposes that this discrepancy between perception and reality is a universal principle of motion. Note: Two versions of this paper are retained for transparency. Version 1 (original, 2025-11-08) contains an incorrect numerical value in Section 5 (arc length ≈ 63.57 m). Version 2 includes the corrected evaluation (arc length ≈ 22.89 m); all conceptual conclusions remain unchanged.
