Abstract

The charge exchange reaction pp → n Δ++ at high energies is examined. The cross section of this reaction is estimated for RHIC and LHC energies based on data taken at the lower energies of the Intersecting Storage Ring (ISR) at CERN. The interest of such measurements for identifying the associated electromagnetic bremsstrahlung radiation is discussed.
