From 20 to 22 September 2021, the annual meeting of the German Medical Library Association took place purely online for the second time. The restrictions on public life due to the corona situation did not yet allow the conference to be held again as an attendance event. The association reacted to this and – in contrast to last year – distributed the conference program “almost as normal” over three days, integrated a virtual company exhibition and included a total of 12 product reviews from various providers in the conference program. The program was wide-ranging in terms of topics. The presentations dealt with literature research tools, future training offers, “science tracking” and digital training offers for users.
