Abstract

For two hermitian matrices A and B, Golden-Thompson inequality \citegolden1965lower, thompson1965inequality states that tr[ exp(A+B) ] ≤ tr[ exp(A)exp(B) ]. We elaborate here the proof from Sutter et al. (2017).
