Abstract

Let \Γ be a lattice in G=\SL(2,\ℂ). We give an\neffective equidistribution result with precise error terms for expanding\ntranslates of pieces of horospherical orbits in \Γ backslash G. Our\nmethod of proof relies on the theory of unitary representations.\n
