The article examines the process of modernizing public administration in the context of digital transformation of society. It highlights the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) as a tool for enhancing the efficiency of public administration, transparency, and citizen participation. The author explores the stages of e-government development, proposing a concept for the legal regulation of the modernization process. Special attention is given to the development of a legal regime of transparency, anti-corruption measures, and the necessity of improving the digital competencies of civil servants. The article identifies key directions of digital transformation, such as increasing citizen satisfaction, reducing administrative costs, and ensuring the security of information systems.
