Abstract

Using a characterization of a generalized τ-invariant for intermediate parameter Hecke algebras in type B_n, we verify a conjectural description of Kazhdan-Lusztig cells in this setting due to C. Bonnafé, L. Iancu, M. Geck, and T. Lam.
