Abstract

We present a list of arithmetically Gorenstein Calabi-Yau threefolds in ℙ⁷ and give evidence that this is a complete list. In particular we construct three new families of arithmetically Gorenstein Calabi-Yau threefolds in ℙ⁷ for which no mirror construction is known.
