Abstract

We prove that the irreducible decomposition of the permutation representation\nof GL(n,q) on GL(n,q)/GL(n-m,q) stabilizes for large n. We deduce, as a\nconsequence, a representation stability theorem for finitely generated\nVIC-modules.\n
