Cyclic vomiting in children poses a problem of etiological diagnosis and therapeutic management. We highlightanunusualcauseofthisentity. Wereportthecaseofanadolescentgirlwhowashospitalisedeve- rymonth fromthe age of14years forrefractoryand disabling cyclicvomiting. Atthe onset ofthe disorder, attheageof11years,cyclicvomitingwaslinkedtoHelicobacterPylorigastritis,eradicatedbyanadapted tripletherapy. However,theirrecrudescencefromtheageofmenarche(at14yearsold),thenegativityofthe etiological explorations (oesogastroduodenal fibroscopywith biopsies, hormonal assessment, electroence- phalogram,abdominaldopplerultrasound,cerebralscanandmetabolicassessment)andtheassociation withpsychologicaldisorders(emotionallabilityandmooddisorders),ledtoapremenstrualdysphoricdi- sorder. The evolutionwas favourable underserotonin reuptake inhibitors. The recognition ofpremenstrual dysphoricdisorderallowedtheimprovementofthequalityoflifeofthisteenagerbyanadaptedtreatment.
