This article provides a comparative analysis of the types and capabilities of wireless sensors that can monitor atmospheric and ambient air pollutants from vehicles and industrial enterprises. At the same time, the general structural architecture of wireless sensors and the architecture of their application in conjunction with the network-based Internet of Things using telecommunication technologies that are currently being developed with wireless sensors are considered.
