Abstract

Dans l&rsquo;imagerie populaire, la folie reste associ&eacute;e aux murs b&acirc;tis pour la contenir &agrave; distance de la cit&eacute;. Si, gr&acirc;ce au courant d&eacute;sali&eacute;niste de l&rsquo;apr&egrave;s seconde guerre mondiale, cette tenace repr&eacute;sentation n&rsquo;est plus motiv&eacute;e par la r&eacute;alit&eacute;, il n&rsquo;en demeure pas moins que c&rsquo;est d&eacute;sormais un autre type de mur qui s&rsquo;est &eacute;rig&eacute;. <b>Abstract :</b> In popular imagery, madness remains associated with walls built to keep it out of the city. Although, thanks to the post-second-world-war desalienation movement, this tenacious representation is no longer motivated by reality, the fact remains that a different kind of wall has now been erected.
