Abstract

This study further examines the mechanisms between perceived meritocratic climate and stigma among juvenile offenders. To enhance ecological validity, the experimental materials will be designed to increase personal relevance, and further examines the mechanisms through which value orientations (self-transcendence vs. self-enhancement) and group-level factors (collective self-esteem) influence the relationship .
