This study investigates the conservation concerns and economic value of two medieval structures that date back to the 17th century. These historical edifices are known as Gondarine structures and are of great cultural significance. Data were collected through primary and secondary methods, including observation, in-depth interviews, measurements, AutoCAD, and photography. The data were analyzed using a qualitative and descriptive approach, with architectural documentation playing a critical role in the analysis. The study's findings indicate that the structures are deteriorating at an alarming rate, which poses a threat to their authenticity and physical integrity. Incompatible restoration material usage, unwise and inadequate restoration, negligence, and the absence of regular maintenance are the analyzed conservation challenges. Despite their poor state of conservation, the study suggests that the monuments have the potential for economic growth and value if proper conservation measures are taken.
