In this work we present the results of a microtremor survey conducted in the area of Camerino following the 2016-2017 seismic sequence of the Cental Italy. Such sequence caused a heavy damaging level in Camerino, and especially in the historical center. The present study aims to provide useful information to increase the knowledge on the local seismic response of the study area, which is preparatory for future seismic microzonation of higher level. Twenty-five ambient noise recordings have been carried out in six zones characterized by different damaging levels and type of buildings. In general, the Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) curves show similar trends, whit a fundamental frequency around 1 Hz.
