Abstract

We report the first observation of the decay B⁺ → χ_c0 K⁺ using 21.3 fb^-1 of data collected by the Belle detector at the Υ(4S) resonance. The preliminary result for the branching fraction is \calB(B⁺→ χ_c0K⁺)=(8.0^+2.7_-2.4± 1.0± 1.1)× 10^-4 where the first error is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third comes from the uncertainty in the χ_c0→π⁺π^- branching fraction.
