Abstract

We report the first observation of the decay B+ → χc0 K+ using 21.3 fb-1 of data collected by the Belle detector at the Υ(4S) resonance. The preliminary result for the branching fraction is \calB(B+→ χc0K+)=(8.0+2.7-2.4± 1.0± 1.1)× 10-4 where the first error is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third comes from the uncertainty in the χc0→π+π- branching fraction.
