Statement of the problem: Job stress is one of the major challenges of human life today. Occupational stress is actually the stress related to the work environment, which leads to physiological and emotional reaction symptoms. These symptoms eventually cause unusual work behaviors, lack of work motivation and reduced productivity in people. The current research is a correlational research and in terms of its purpose, it is an applied research. The statistical population of the research includes 20 employees of the administrative department of the Faculty of Nursing in Poldakhter city. The reason for choosing this office was the background of familiarity with one of the employees of this faculty. This research was done on January 20, 1400. Method: Research method, survey method and data collection tool, preparation and design of self-written questionnaire are based on standard stress measurement questionnaires, including DASS 21. In this study, internal consistency was determined through Cronbach's alpha, which was 0.85 for stress, 0.87 for work stress, 0.83 for physical environment, and 0.894 for the entire questionnaire, which indicates the high reliability of the questionnaire. Conclusion: The results of this research indicate that light and air conditioning are related to employee stress. The findings of this research show that the factors of the physical environment have an effect on the stress of office workers with a correlation coefficient of 0.577. Therefore, when designing an office building, the effect of physical factors such as: favorable light, natural ventilation and sound should be considered.
