Significant progress with macroorganisms has been made by the partners in various Ecophyto projects and in the present CASDAR SAMOSA 2020-2023 project to reduce the use of pesticides in horticultural crops. However, impasses remain on certain pests, and the search for zero pesticide requires to identify the key elements for a system management that guarantees the economic viability. In the SAMOSA project, "zero pesticide" experimental sites are conducted on 3 horticultural systems: a succession of potted plants in the southwest region, cut flower roses in the tropical region, gerbera cut flowers in the Mediterranean region, and implemented with climate sensors. The CASDAR SAMOSA project generated new digital functionalities in the Baco business application created to manage the systems. Temperature and hygrometry data collected on the three sites have enabled better positioning and evaluation of interventions.
