The article provides an overview of international practices and strategies in military psychology, high-lighting its impact on the education of military personnel. The authors discuss the definitions, purposes and areas of the discipline in the context of historical changes since the 20th century, as well as contemporary challenges that define its role in modern armed forces. Special attention is given to the evolution of training methods and their adaptation to the specific needs of different military domains, which support the individual development and combat effectiveness of soldiers. The article introduces the process of training military psychologists in selected countries, as well as key publications explaining the theoretical and research aspects of psychology in the military field. The study combines historical data with the latest research, demonstrating the importance of the discipline for military education strategies and the training of soldiers' readiness for the challenges of the 21st century.
