For certain one-dimensional Schroedinger-type difference operators with a\ncomplex potential, a "complete" set of exponentially decaying eigenvectors is\nshown to exist. "Completeness" entails that the parameters involved are\nobtained through evaluation of analytic functions on a Riemann surface.\n
