We show that the imbedding BV(ℝN)\hookrightarrow L1^∗,q(ℝN), q>1 is cocompact with respect to group and the profile decomposition for BV(ℝN). This paper extends the cocompactness and profile decomposition for the critical space L1^∗(ℝN) to Lorentz spaces L1^∗,q(ℝN), q>1. A counterexample for BV(ℝN)\hookrightarrow L1^∗,1(ℝN) not cocompact is given in the last section.
