The image of the state currently affects many levels of its functioning, therefore it is very important for states. The growing importance of soft power in the modern world has resulted in the emergence of new types of diplomacy. One of the tools used to create the desired image is public diplomacy. This article presents the activities undertaken by the United States as part of broadly understood public diplomacy.
