The Global Colour Model of QCD is used in conjunction with a pure-gluon lattice correlator (by Marenzoni et al.) to extract from meson data a momentum-dependent quark-gluon coupling down to s ≈ 0.3 GeV2. This is compared with a lattice calculation (by Skullerud) of the quark-gluon coupling.
