pp. 15-38 This research analyzes the way in which the comic El último tramo del siglo XX en México (2019) reinterprets the Mexican Student Movement of 1968 according to the new findings that have been made about this event. For our analysis, we use the paradigm of indexical inferences, as well as the comparison of the historical characters that appear in the comic with what historiography and the media have written about them.
