Abstract

We study the universal integrable modules Wq(m) of level zero for quantum affine sl2 and a family of maximal finite--dimensional quotients of these modules. We show that these all have dimension 2m. Using this, we are able to realize Wq(m) as the space of invariants of a reprsentation of the Hecke algebra Hm. We also give a conjecture in the general case.
