Abstract

Modifiable risk factors are the basic tool that clinicians and sports professionals use in injury prevention programs. Strategies are developed to improve these outcomes, but lack of adherence or continuity can lead to significant variations and consequent loss of gains. Here, we analyze the effects of detraining after NHE training on eccentric strength and fascicle length, as well as practical suggestions for professionals to maintain this exercise throughout the season to maintain gains.
