A new species of ant genus Stictoponera Mayr, 1887 (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) from India

Abstract

A new species of the genus Stictoponera Mayr, 1887 is reported from India. Stictoponera lattkei sp. nov. is well differentiated from already described species of this genus. An updated identification key supplemented with digital images is provided for all known Indian species.
