Abstract

Let π:\aut(Fn)→ \aut(\Zn) be the epimorphism induced by the isomorphism \Zn ≅ Fn/Fn' and define Tn:=kerπ. We prove that the subset of Tn consists of all non-iwip and all non-hyperbolic elements is exponentially small.
