Abstract

Let π:\aut(F_n)→ \aut(\Zⁿ) be the epimorphism induced by the isomorphism \Zⁿ ≅ F_n/F_n' and define T_n:=kerπ. We prove that the subset of T_n consists of all non-iwip and all non-hyperbolic elements is exponentially small.
