The complementarity of polarized DIS experiments and polarized Proton-Proton experiments is illustrated for two examples. It is shown how the twist-3 part of the second moment of g2(x,Q2) and the single-spin photon asymmetry are connected and it is discussed how the polarized gluon distribution can be obtained from the measurement of direct gamma asymmetries.
