This scoping review explores epigenetic alterations in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and their potential as therapeutic targets. Given the persistent challenges in GBM treatment and the growing recognition of epigenetic mechanisms in tumor development and resistance, this review maps the existing preclinical and clinical literature on DNA methylation, histone modifications, chromatin remodeling, and non-coding RNAs. The review was conducted in accordance with PRISMA-ScR guidelines, with a structured search and data extraction strategy to capture relevant studies evaluating epigenetic modifications and related therapeutic interventions. The aim is to provide an overview of the current evidence, identify gaps in knowledge, and support future research directions in this area.
