Abstract

Let F be any non-Archimedean local field with a Galois involution σ and F₀ be the fixed field for the action of σ. When the residue characteristic of F₀ is odd, using the explicit construction of cuspidal representations of classical groups by Stevens, we classify generic cuspidal representations of U(2,1)(F/F₀).
