The closing session of the XVIII Symposium of the International Dostoevsky Society in Nagoya featured a roundtable discussion with three popular representatives of contemporary Japanese literature - Fuminori Nakamura, Risa Wataya, and Keiichirō Hirano. The theme of the roundtable was related to the question of the significance of F.M. Dostoevsky's work for the invited writers, who took turns giving a speech in their native language.
