The presented study outlines the results of laboratory and semi-field trials focused on evaluating the effectiveness of selected plant protection products against the black cherry aphid (Myzus cerasi). The results of the experiments, conducted during 2025, may assist fruit growers in choosing plant protection products that ensure a reduction in aphid populations. Based on the obtained data, products containing the active substances acetamiprid and etofenprox were found to be effective. Among naturally based substances, sufficient efficacy was observed for natural pyrethrins. For some substances, specifically for products containing potassium salts of natural fatty acids and Pongamia pinnata oil, differences in efficacy were recorded between laboratory and semi-field conditions, which may be attributed to the application technique and particularly to the mode of action.
