Abstract

We obtain an improved version of a recent result concerning the existence of nonnegative nonradial solutions u∈ D^1,2(ℝ^N)∩ L²(ℝ^N,| x| ^-αdx) to the equation -\triangle u+\fracA| x| ^αu=f( u) in ℝ^N, N≥ 3, A,αgt;0, where f is a continuous nonlinearity satisfying f( 0) =0.
