Abstract

We obtain sharp rotation bounds for homeomorphisms\nf:\ℂ\→\ℂ whose distortion is in L^p_loc, p\≥1, and\nwhose inverse have controlled modulus of continuity. The interest in this class\nis partially motivated by examples arising from fluid mechanics. We also\npresent examples proving sharpness in a strong sense.\n
