This paper delves into the underexplored realm of migrant organisations (MOs) and their role in providing social and cultural security to migrants, with a particular emphasis on Polish migrant organisations (PMOs) across several European nations. Through extensive empirical investigations encompassing surveys, interviews, and analyses in nine European countries, including Germany, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy, France, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, it sheds light on the significant potential PMOs hold in ensuring cultural security while lamenting their limited contribution to social welfare. By advocating for heightened recognition of MOs’ significance in addressing the multifaceted security challenges encountered by migrants, the paper underscores the pressing need for policy interventions aimed at bolstering PMOs’ capacity to provide comprehensive social security within Polish migrant communities.
