Abstract

In this paper we derive a relation for a class of Racah polynomials that appear in a conjecture of Kresch and Tamvakis. The relation follows from an inversion formula for a transformation of a discrete sequence of complex numbers \ x_n \_n=0^∞. As a result of our inversion formula, we also obtain other combinatorial identities.
