Abstract

We determine the ℓ-adic étale cohomology and the eigenvalues of the geometric Frobenius for the moduli stack L_1,12n := Hom_n(ℙ¹, M_1,1) of stable elliptic fibrations over ℙ¹ with 12n nodal singular fibers and a marked Weierstrass section over \mathbbF_q with char(\mathbbF_q) ≠ 2,3.
