Abstract

Abstract : A cursory look at the literature unveils that computational linguistics is a fascinating interdisciplinary field that combines computer science, artificial intelligence, and linguistics. It has profoundly impacted our daily lives in diverse ways owing to technology evolution and the broad range of practical applications in various fields. Consequently, the main purpose of this literature based paper is to succinctly define computational linguistics. Moreover, it explores its key components. Furthermore, it spots light on its numerous real-world applications in learning, communication, and marketing, such as machine translation, speech recognition, data retrieval, information extraction from texts, and grammar checking, with a particular emphasis on its crucial role in boosting marketing strategies.
