Abstract

In this paper, we consider an eigenvalue problem of the elliptic operator L_r=\rm div(T^r∇⋅ ) on compact submanifolds in arbitrary codimension of space forms ℝ^N(c) with c≥0. Our estimates on eigenvalues are sharp.
