Publication activity is an inevitable part of scientific progress of any researcher. It starts from putting the research results to paper and accompanies with the choice of scientific journal, article citing and author rate. The given article give basic review of publication activity, required skills to get published in scientific journals, peculiarities of journals to choose, and samples of scientific publciations in some countriesб, including Uzbekistan. The purpose of the given article is to introduce beginner researchers with the meaning and importance of scientific publications.
