Abstract

Although suppression of inflammation is a must in eyes with inflammatory type choroidal neovascular membranes, anti-VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) therapy with agents, such as aflibercept in the present case, is a key therapeutic adjunct and may possibly help improve the visual prognosis.
