This project presents a system-level conceptual framework for selective cloud processing offloading in mobile devices operating under energy-critical conditions. The work focuses on architectural boundaries and decision governance rather than implementation details. It introduces a disciplined separation between locally preserved critical execution paths and conditionally permitted external processing, treating cloud-based computation as a controlled exception rather than a default operational mode. A bounded, user-authorized emergency operational state is considered, under which selective offloading may be temporarily enabled to extend device usability, while preserving local responsiveness and preventing the externalization of raw or reconstructable sensory data. The contribution is intentionally abstract and system-oriented. No algorithms, software implementations, performance benchmarks, or hardware designs are disclosed. The objective is to establish a defensible conceptual framework with relevance to energy-aware mobile systems and long-term architectural design.
