The derived representations were then further assessed, by comparison with experiments and existing models, for various flows with Mach numbers M 2� 0;5� . The flows considered include cases where separation or shockwave/boundary-layer interaction were present. Possible directions for further work for the improvement of near-wall modeling are discussed.
