The proposed scoping review explores to what extend caregivers are currently utilising smart home technologies to fulfil remote caring responsibilities for older adults living with dementia at home. To effectively inform future best practice policies, empower distant caregivers and support ageing in place with dementia, it is essential to understand what smart home technologies families are currently utilising for remote dementia care. The expected outcome is an Identification of the types of smart home technologies being utilised.
