Abstract

Historical events, lifelines, archaeological research strands as well as cinematic and literary testimonies of human creativity accumulate and intersect in the mono- and biographies of committed science. What could be more obvious than to let such millennia-spanning, meaningfully concentrated, geographically and thematically expansive tangles of knowledge culminate expediently in three proposals for the use of a fountain monument that, although groundbreaking in terms of architectural history, has so far remained hidden in obscurity?
