Abstract

Using rotation in SU(3) space, a set of relations between various decay modes of Bd and Bs are derived. The decays barBd0-> K*-pi +(rho +K-), barBs0-> K*-K+ are expressed in terms of decay parameters of barBd0->rho -pi +(rho +π-). In particular the parameters r-+(r+-) of Bd->rho πdecays are obtained in terms of experimentally known decay rates R-+(R+-)=frac12left(Gammarho +pi -(rho -pi +)+\ar\amma\ho -pi +(rho +pi -)), R-+prime(R+-prime)=frac12left(GammaK*+pi -(rho -K+)+barGammaK*-π+(rho +K-)), known parameters barlambda, fK*/frho(fK/fpi) and two parameters B-+=fracR-+left| T-+right| 2,B+-=fracR+-| T+-| 2 which are determined by using factorization for tree amplitudes T-+ and T+-. We find r-+=0.21pm 0.04,r+-=0.25pm 0.06. With these values the following bounds on left(z≡ cos γcos δ, x=sin γsin δ) are derived: [-0.34(-0.33)≤ z-+(z+-)≤ 0.28(0.27) ] and [0.16(0.43)≤ x-+(x+-)≤ 0.58(1.00) ] From (x,z) plot we obtain following bounds on weak phase gamma and strong phases δprimes z-+>0,gamma geq 70circ,10circ leq δ-+≤ 40circ, z-+<0,gamma geq 65, (180-δ-+). For δ+- we get 25leq δ+-≤ 90circ or (180-delta+-).
