Abstract

We present a frequency domain based H_\∞-control strategy to solve\nboundary control problems for systems governed by parabolic or hyperbolic\npartial differential equation, where controllers are constrained to be\nphysically implementable and of simple structure suited for practical\napplications. The efficiency of our technique is demonstrated by controlling a\nreaction-diffusion equation with input delay, and a wave equation with boundary\nanti-damping.\n
