About pseudo-Riemannian Lichnerowicz conjecture

Abstract

We construct the first known examples of compact pseudo-Riemannian manifolds having an essential group of conformal transformations, and which are not conformally flat. Our examples cover all types (p,q), with 2 ≤ p ≤ q.
